In 1958, Ed and Thelma Schoenberger took an idea and developed it into an event.  Amid the dreary late winter blahs, that event has ushered Hoosiers into spring for the last 54 years.  The Schoenbergers offered Indianapolis a unique exposition of landscaping and gardening, original in that it focused exclusively on the designs of gardens, patios, and finer outdoor living.  Ed and Thelma found that most shows around the country were not garden shows but they were mainly home shows with flowers added.

The 54th Annual Indiana Flower & Patio Show, which has been owned by Hobby Shows Incorporated since 1989, is no home show.  We ensure only the best exhibitors and landscapers participate to help fulfill every finer outdoor living need.  We’ve got what has made our show great for over 50 years – Gardens.
