Flowers from JP Parker Herald Arrival of Spring - -
What shouts “Spring!” louder than anything? Flowers, of course. Big, bold, beautiful blossoms in every hue imaginable!
Again this year, Pam Parker of JP Parker Flowers is the Indiana Flower & Patio Show’s go-to designer where springtime flowers are concerned. Her large, colorful retail display always is a show stopper, the spot where fabulous bouquets of healthy, hardy blossoms can be purchased for take home, at extraordinary prices. In addition to her floral retail area, Pam and landscape architect Dallas Foster (of Vincennes, Indiana’s Landscapes by Dallas Foster) have collaborated to design a fresh and fun Showcase Garden themed to the classic Robin Hood.
JP Parker Flowers is a family-owned-and-operated business with retail shops at 377 East Jefferson Street in Franklin and at 801 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis (across from Shapiro’s). A Shelby County farm, also family-owned-and-operated, provides many of their blooms during the growing season, including crops of more than 20,000 peony stems and 300,000 sunflowers! JP Parker is well known for handling floral design for events of all sizes and scopes including many high-profile affairs in the Indianapolis area: grand opening festivities at Union Station, the Pan American Games, numerous corporate conferences, and, most recently, the grand opening public gala for the new Indianapolis International Airport midfield terminal.
Through it all, Pam’s philosophy never has wavered: “Flowers make people happy and I greatly enjoy the fact that my art of floral design makes people very happy. How can you go wrong with a job that makes people happy every single day?” JP Parker Flowers will be at the 52nd annual Indiana Flower & Patio Show March 13-21, making thousands of showgoers very happy!
