For over 30 years, Steel Heart, Ltd. has been a leader in the garden decor industry. Most of our products have been designed by co-owner, Jacek Peczkowski. Using the skills and knowledge he learned while working alongside his grandfather in Poland, Jacek continually brings new designs to the world of gardening.
Located on the estate of The House of Seven Gables in rural Harvard, IL, we welcome you to visit the beautiful shop and wander the stunning gardens which are on Bigfoot Prairie. The House of Seven Gables (not open to the public) was built in 1838 and had been the home, courtroom, and jail cells of Territorial Judge Rudolphus Hutchinson. Predating the house, the barn (where the shop is) is said to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad. Steel Heart, Ltd. is a one-of-a-kind destination.
