A fun way to express creativity by playing in the dirt

Abby Perry, founder of Abby's Garden Parties, is a passionate advocate for connecting people with nature through hands-on experiences. With a background in psychology from the University of Michigan and a former career in pharmaceutical sales, she found her true calling in spreading her love for gardening.

Perry’s journey began during the pandemic when her daughter’s request for a terrarium sparked the idea to share this calming and creative experience with others. As a Hamilton County Master Gardener, she brings expertise and joy to every event, aiming to make Indiana greener one terrarium at a time.

At Abby’s Garden Parties, Perry aims to provide not just a terrarium-making experience, but also a mental health boost and an opportunity for creativity. She believes in the motto “trade a little screen time for some green time,” emphasizing the importance of unplugging and engaging in nature.

Through her booth at the Indiana Flower + Patio Show, visitors can immerse themselves in the wonderful world of succulents or create their own terrariums, guided by Perry's expertise and passion. Her mission extends beyond just selling plants — it’s about setting people up for success by providing the right plants and instructions to nurture their green companions.
